Why would ebay remove a listing after the transaction was complete?

I purchased an item last month and was looking through my history as I wanted to see if this same seller may have had one other item I needed. I now see instead of the item a note saying that ebay has since removed this listing and if I haven't sent payment yet, not to. As well instruction on how to file a dispute. I received my item in a timely fashion and gave and recieved perfect feedback. Should I be alarmed about this? Is the item I received possibly countereit or worse? Just something I've never encountered before.

Hi ebay removes items for many policy violations (fake being one) , seller suspended (did you check the ID). Only you can establish authenticity
