I recently purchased an item which I never received. After several emails with the rude and unco-operative seller I launched a dispute and left negative feedback. After I won the dispute I checked back on the negative feedback I'd left to see if the seller had made a rebutall, only to find that all traces of it had been removed, even from the "feedback left" portion on my account. I know for sure it WAS there as I had checked the next day and saw it.
Why would Ebay remove this feedback???
And if this is normal, what's the point in feedback????

There are not a lot of reasons that will cause ebay to remove and usually difficult unless buyer/seller agree..

I'm sure, as in most cases, that there is more to this story, on both sides 🙂

A tendency to leave negative or neutral comments with a positive feedback. Seven in the past year - out of about 125 purchases.

You must have violated the feedback policy because it is rare for ebay to remove feedback left by a buyer. My guess is that you left an inappropriate comment:
