Will eBay shut down your account if it's not active for some time?

So I've read about eBay shutting down seller accounts. I like to sell as a hobby on eBay but I do not have a store. If I put a hold on selling for a while but continue to buy from others on eBay, will my account get suspended or shut down? That would suck.

They won't shut it down but they will probably put limits on the amount you sell until you reestablish yourself. There will also probably be a 21 day hold on any money you receive in paypal payments.

That's exactly what happened when I reactivated one of my accounts a couple of years ago. I was subject to the 21 day hold for a couple of months.

But I have one account that has been unused for nearly 10 years and remains available.
