I keep getting constantly outbid on items i really really want and it says that some of them are using automatic bidding? how do i do that? this is driving me nuts...

All bidding on eBay is automatic.
You bid once and bid the maximum that you are willing to pay and eBay then enters incremental bids on your behalf up to your maximum.

Decide how much you want to pay for the item.
Subtract the listed cost of shipping.
Bid that much.
Once.
And near the end of the auction.
If you are outbid the other guy paid too much, right?
Or buy Fixed Price listings where the first one to accept the seller's price wins immediately. Most listings on eBay are Fixed Price so your choice is greater.

Hi nicolemc22
When placing the bid use like $23.04...NOT $23.00 OR $23.97 have a bit better chance of winning, NOT always 100% to win but a better chance.
