buyer requesting to cancel order

so an item just sold, and within 24 hours the buyer is asking for a refund due to a "family crisis" ..  i'm sure he is just having buyers remorse and wants his money back.. thats fine..

my question is, if i order a full refund through paypal, how do i get the ebay fee credit back?

You would have to send a mutual cancellation request to the buyer ...

Once refunded go to where you see the transaction it awaiting payment or awaiting shipment ... Go to the little arrow on the right with the drop down menu and click open unpaid case and once you do that the next option will be file unpaid case or send cancellation ..

Keep in mind if buyer refuses cancellation you would have to resort to contact ebay t get your fees back ... Cancellation are normaly only done on low cost items for that reason .. Even if the buyer refuses ebay is pretty good about those things if you call

Does that mean that I have to select the following option fromt he "Resolve a problem" page ?

The buyer and I agree to cancel a transaction.
