ebay customer support is very inadequate.  how does a person get some help around here?  no chat option, no email option, no clear place to even use discussion board to communicate with ebay employees when help is needed.   The only option I could see was to call, which is inconvenient and not promising (im sure we've all had frustrations waiting on hold and then not getting any resolution using call centers).

So I begrudgingly called as I had no other choice. The people on the other end of the phone unfortunately dont understand english very well, their solution is to pretend to put you on hold while they look for an answer, then what they they actually do is put you back in the queue to wait for the next available employee.  this has happened to me twice now.  I have spoken with 2 ppl who gave me totally different answers  about the problem with my account.  After getting put on hold for an extended period of time waiting to talk to a supervisor I got disconnected.

Im guessing that most employees there have no idea what is going on.  Its just all very frustrating when you have a question and have no way to get it resolved.  where does that leave people like me? either cancel the account or deal with lack of help. in my case, Im just going to make the trip to Future Shop and buy my items the old fashioned way.  Will cost me more money but at least I can ask questions to a human being who can understand me.  Also, I know they want my business and so I wont have to wait on hold for over an hour in order to make my purchase.

Sorry eBay!  I tried, wasted about 1.5 hours trying to resolve this and that's all your getting out of me.  Maybe my account will magically fix itself sometime in the future!  it seems thats the best you can offer me.

please reinstate customer/agent chat and email.  your current customer support system is not working.  Thank you!

Now that you have found the member to member boards, what was your original problem?

Your fellow members may have the answer.

Also there is a live chat with well connected eBay employees on Wednesdays at 1 pm.
