eBay account security communication partner warning

I recently bought an item from a seller, and the status of my item has been shipped.  However, 3 days later, ebay emailed me with this message stating that an "unauthorized third party may have compromised this member's account security".  Does this mean that the status of my item is fake? and that I should demand a refund for the fraud?

Thanks,

Re: eBay account security communication partner warning

Just in case don't click on anything in the email.

And look very carefully at the headers-- and the grammar.

Did 'eBay' address you by name or by ID or as 'dear customer'.

You can also send the email to spoof@ebay.com for verification.

However, from time to time a stagnant account is hacked.

Allow 15 to 20 days from payment in case your item does arrive.

If not go to the Resolution Centre and open the Item Not Received dispute and reference the verified email.
