Why does eBay want that and to hurt sellers? It seems that eBay is now becoming no more fun and is now becoming not safe.

I think you've misunderstood.
Google is the one doing this; ebay is aware of the impact, and suggests sellers minimize their own effect by complying with the following recommendations:

Instead of http:// at the beginning of the url on the address bar it will say https://
If you go to any payment page you'll see that it already says https. On my pc other addresses on ebay don't show the http designation at all. That might change once they system is changed over to https???
