ebay changes password

why does ebay want a change of password when you are in the middle of placing bids ?? should they not notify you before starting to place bids ? the app would not let me reset password telling me to register so i had to wait untill i could access my computer to update password resulting in lost bids on items. this message is also being sent to sellers.

I take it you didn't update your password last year when ebay told everyone to because of a security breach.  

Get to a PC and update your password. There's nothing you can do about the lost bids.
