ebay reliably crashes IE

The last few weeks its been getting worse and worse - seems to be related to the sidebar advertising loading ( or getting stuck loading)

Do you have AdBlock enabled?

I dropped Internet Explorer and Safari for this reason and now use Firefox.

bone-stock IE, latest win8.1 version
been using IE for years as my "ebay browser" only started acting up the last few months.
I use firefox for other things, and chrome for other things, but like to have IE open with ebay...

Its still crashing RELENTLESSLY - nobody else use this browser?
