If Canada post will charge an import fee it up to them, but why should we have to pay GSP an extra X$%. Why do they need to get in between????

Because they use the money to pay the workers who process the parcel so that it gets to you. Oh and to their shareholders.

Um, maybe the add on fees but the duty and taxes go to big brother.
