ebay has regular maintenance on Thursday night/Friday morning. Here is a link to their "System Announcements" web page. This applies to both ebay.ca Canada and eBay.com USA.

Usually the regular weekly maintenance does not affect ebay. I had no issues last night during maintenance.

But I am reading the the USA forums and it seems the maintenance affected a lot of users while it was being done.

I wonder what is going to be broken this morning? Not a good sign when the regular maintenance affects enough users to think eBay is down.

I couldn't see any of my listings during that time but it appears to be back to normal now
