It's a long shot, but I made a purchase on June 1st and till now, I still have not received the item. I payed outside ebay and directly through paypal. The seller is now ignoring me and I'm not able to open a dispute claim on ebay nor in paypal. Do I still have a chance on getting back anything?

Did you pay by Credit Card.

If so, phone the 1-800 number on the back of your card

and enquire about doing a chargeback.

Crooked sellers often do not realize that Paypal's Buyer Protection is almost as strong as eBay's. However, you have only 45 days to file with either company's Resolution Centre for a refund.

Go to your credit card. But act immediately because they have deadlines too. Have all your dates, transaction numbers, values etc handy for the customer service clerk.
