Beware of sellers with grossly inflated prices! Case in point: seller from Hong Kong is presently(Nov.13-2013) selling an older model Nokia(n97) for a whopping US $800.00. I used to own one,and I paid $110.00 for it two years ago!
Watch out for these guys before you push that bid/buy now button! Ebay should ban people like that from conducting business in this fashion!

There is nothing to report.
If you own something you can try to sell it for any amount you want.
They are not breaking any rules.

I don't see any wrong doing in that. If someone is ready to purchase it at that price... it's their choice. Collectibles don't always sell for the original price they were purchased for - fortunately! That is why it is called a collectible. Some items I bought $10 years ago are now valued at $100 today.

The only one who will make the decision if the item is overpriced is the buyer.
Competitor sold a Vintage Shirt for $365. this week.
Obviously the buyer did not think the item was overpriced.
I say "shoot for the moon" if you have a unique item.
The Seller can always make price adjustments later.

Yes,some sellers are more than greedy.Look at the seller from Hong Kong, selling Nokia 808 Pure view phone for something like $2800.00,plus $55.00 shipping!? I bought same model(new) from a seller in Canada for 130.00.! C'mon people, this is just a cell phone, and not a gold nugget!

That Hong Kong seller has already sold two of these items for US$500 and US$550 (plus shipping)
This is the last one in stock and he raised his price!.
If you purchased the same item - as you claim - for Cdn$ 130 you obviously got a bargain.

It's the buyer's job to research the product before purchasing it. The seller doesn't click the Buy-It-Now butter for you, you do. Worth is relative.
