Sellers are not able to leave negative feedback for a buyer. They have 2 options: positive or none. Many years ago sellers were able to leave negative feedback for buyers, but that is no longer the case.

If you have your PayPal backed by your credit card, the payment should go through instantly. If I remember correctly, the only time payment is delayed is if you pay through PayPal directly from your bank account (which is called an e-cheque).

When you leave feedback, or if you leave feedback at all, is up to you. As a buyer, you will likely want to wait until you receive your purchase and verify everything is there and is in the same condition as advertised (and, where applicable, if the item is fully functional).

Now if the Pen clip does not fit none of my pens what could be done? I only use sharpie pens and gel pens like Jimmie and Hi tech point pens like 0.7 stuff some days pencils as well?  I use Pentel Energel Liquid Gel pens.

Well, technically....

If the item you get is Not As Described, you can return it for a full refund.

  • The longer story is that this depends on the reason for the Dispute, the location of the seller, the cost of return shipping, foreign exchange, and time.

Basically, if you are buying from outside of Canada it is very expensive to return anything. So on cheap items you are taking a chance.

If you are returning within Canada, you have to provide proof that the item was returned to the seller. While the seller can be told by eBay to send you a return shipping label, the whole process can be a waste of money and time for both of you.

EBay and Paypal both have strong Buyer Protection programs, the big problem can be shipping costs.

Did the listing specify that it would work with those specific pens?  If not, you can return them IF the seller allows returns. If you click on the shipping payment tab you can see if they do accept returns.   If the listing species that  it will fit but doesn't ....or if the item is not as described in the listing, then you can return for refund through the eBay money back guarantee program.  In that situation it doesn't matter if the seller accepts returns.
