got two emails saying they bought my laptop and found out by ebay they spammed me so I removed posting. I still get email saying they won item. I delete it right away: Anyhow was told I got credit back but I don't see the credit on account like 5.00 or ten.00 how does this work when they give back thanks ?? the emails had a email address linked to it also.

Can you please explain that again?
You had a laptop for sale and what happened?
If it didn't actually sell, you were not charged any Final Value fees so there is nothing to refund to your account. You won't get your listings fees refunded if you arbitrarily decided to end your listing early.

my add said pick up only and he purchased it and said hi mate contact me at such and such email we will see what goes from there: and I called in told ebay and they saw the email told me it was a spam I don't have to ship or sell it to them if add said pick up only. I went to post office more then one for there postal codes some was 50.00 and lower depending how fast they wanted.

Your listing does not show it sold, or was removed. It says you ended it early.

And if the Customer Service Rep was willing to credit you for anything, it might have been the (already-free) insertion fee which would be mostly meaningless to you since you still have 49 free ones left this month, I would assume.

Unless you tried multiple times to sell this item this month. Did you? Or was it the one time only?

they said cancell it on him so I did then repost it then same thing again. so got sick of the spammers so I removed off of here:

Anytime that you, as a seller, have a bad experience with a buyer, you can and should add them to your Blocked Bidder list.

This prevents the buyer from coming back again to try the same trick.

The item was purchased but wasn't paid for and you were charged final value fees.....is that right?
Did you cancel the item or file an unpaid item claim? That's normally what you have to do to receive a credit.
When you are credited it should show on your eBay invoice and would be taken off any amount that you owe the following month.

Two points:
SPAM is not the same as SCAM.
Spam is when some company or individual sends endless emails about nothing. Like those you get from facebook saying "You have more friends on facebook than you think", only you've never signed up for an account. That's SPAM.
Scam means someone is trying to steal from you, or even succeeding. Like when someone tries to trick you into thinking you have been paid for an item but in fact your PayPal account shows you have received nothing. They try to fool you into mailing the item before it is paid for. That's a SCAM.
(Not that the 2 can't go together sometimes.)
It sounds to me like rodm1975 put up a listing, got a fake (SCAM) email, or even just a poorly worded one, and quickly took down the listing, whether in fear or disgust.
If this is the first listing there should be no charge for ending a listing early but don't do it all the time or there might be.
Also, it is a REALLY bad idea to list an auction at 99 cents. Only do that if you will be happy to sell it for 99 cents. Always list with a start price you will be happy to accept. If there is only one bidder you are supposed to sell it to them at that price. So if you list at 99 cents and only one person bids, they will show up to get it with a dollar in their hand and you have no one to blame but yourself.
If you don't hand over the laptop for the dollar, the buyer will call YOU the "scammer".
