I want to buy a laboratory equipment which is in Us .I was wondering how much tax i will be charged?I live in Canada.

Depends on the type of equipment and the value. If less than $20cdn in value, should be no charges.

Duty: You'll need to check to see if it is subject to duty -- this depends on what it is, and where it was made.

GST / HST: This tax will probably be charged, you should know what your local rate is.
