trying to rescind a bid

i put a bid on something. after i confirmed i noticed seller does not ship to canada, only usa.  i email immediately after, to rescind the bid, but no response. i sent email before the  auction was over, but no response and now it says i won the item.  what do i do now?

The listing says the seller May Not Ship to Canada and to contact him for rates.

Seller may be away from his/her computer or may be away for the weekend.

Send an email and ask for shipping costs and wait a few days.

The reasons are few, too few in my opinion, and retractions show on your Feedback page, so asking the seller to cancel your bid is often a better plan.
