Re: weird payment requests

LOL - mr.elmwood- I missed the decimal and thought your were counselling OP on how to make a really fat profit.

Looked again and realized that you meant 60 pence.

Time to get the other cataract seen to, I guess.

Re: weird payment requests

uhuh...but I expect the invoice to recalculate on the uk ebay site? I've delt with many uk sales & never had to convert, why with a prepaid card I don't get why I would have to do this.

Re: weird payment requests

Depends where they are looking as to what currency they see. They have no credit so they use pre-paid cards. Tell us the total including shipping and we will convert for you.

Do you want the sale?

Re: weird payment requests

I doubt that you can give the buyer an 100% accurate amount as it would depend on what exchange rate Paypal was using at the time he pays. Plus, the number that Paypal uses also includes a service fee that the buyer would have to pay as Paypal would be exchanging the currency.

Re: weird payment requests

I think I will get the paypal people to do this, there are other factors like you say service fees it doesn't have to be 100% accurate but then again with the cost to ship I want to be careful & not make an error ~ the shipping fee is high for a coat weighing over 5lbs.

Re: weird payment requests

Lizzier is a moderator, you aren't allowed to cut and paste buyer content directly. You can paraphrase but can't copy it directly. (I learned this the same way a few months ago). If you do it gets deleted by the moderator.

For me, it is very simple, "only PayPal" and nothing else! Period!

We don't need any additional hassles with "weird payment requests" at any time.
