How can we as a community allow individuals that work against the grain of our laid out policies. These policies protect us from individuals who invent new names to continue Selling on this prestigious net work of honest individuals who provide a service, especially to individuals like my self who are disabled and can't get out very often. So when I get my packages delivered with every thing intact, not stolen or missing: (which coincidently has never happened to me or anyone that I know). I get excited when the post master calls on me. My question is for everyone reading or responding, if you have to change your Business name more often (NINE TIMES In this case) , it would be due to irregularity in business performance or poor performance or be Camouflaged from I.R.S involvement .When you run a business with in the USA or Canada, by the time we get around to noticing some form of indiscretion, or continued complaints, the name has changed again. How can we protect ourselves. By providing such Names thats how. You'll find them here.

Have you let your postmaster know that your parcels are being tampered with? "Stolen" implies that this happened after shipping. The PM can launch an investigation. Although this is rare, one reason postal workers are well paid is to make it unprofitable to steal from the mailstream), there was a Montreal worker fired and prosecuted recently.
There is no problem with changing names on an account. One honest seller here recently changed his business name because his original name accidentally implied he was selling "mature" material. I've changed the name on one account when I changed the material I was offering. An account with a new name has an icon that reflects the change.
It is harder to monitor members who open entirely new accounts because an older one is poisoned. Reporting accounts to eBay will get you a polite thank you, but no other information. They do encourage policing but not vigilantism. And of course, the reporter could be wrong or mischievous.
If you can spot that a number of accounts are all the same person, you should be able to spot that you should not be ordering from that person. Fool me once.... as they say.

Hello 'mark',
There is really nothing wrong with ebay users changing the names of their ebay IDs.
I can think of many reasons for doing so. This tells a little bit about it:
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/account/change-userid.html#how
Whatever a person's reason, the feedback stays the same. So if a dodgy seller changes
his user ID, that will be of little help because his feedback record does not change or go away.
That means users like yourself can still read what other people think of the seller.
Just as sellers can still read the feedback of bidders, no matter how many ID changes the bidder
has had over time.
Changing one's ID is not a way to avoid paying taxes on income earned because whilst the ID
may be new, the user's personal information remains the same.
To protect yourself against items that do not show up at all, or are not as described in the listing,
be sure to read through the claims process described here:
http://pages.ebay.ca/help/buy/item-not-received.html
That way, no matter what the seller's ID, if you do not receive what you paid for, you have an
avenue of recourse.
Best wishes

Worded in proper fashion to produce the desired effect of pulling one"s sheep's wool over others eyes to provide "The Wolf Effect". Unfortunately I do not agree with what is being said. You,a single person have given me some credible information. However it does not work with me. I have been in business for over 35 years. My name has never changed as my business has never changed it's ability to provide such service to the public. Without looking through the phone book for aliases of previous business that has never moved, I understand the mature context, but come'on to change your name NINE TIMES on an internet address with no actual change of physical address.
Sounds fishy to me. Perhaps name change arises from poor customer support or close one name to enter another for tax purposes. IRS divergence and lastly; a better standing within the Ebay community. Who knows, the Ebay community knows now, that's all I wanted to do was to let everyone know that this smells. Smell's like an investigation is coming. Change your business name and then change your position and you assume the roll as a consultant., and never have to move. If you purchase from Canada then you have an account with C.B.S.A . Can't change that unless you change business name, in order to get tax relief under another business or to have goods delivered without classification provided to said business.
Thank you for reading,
I'm done with this conversation. Like I said earlier just putting it out there. It's called freedom of speech.
