Didnt get a full refund

Not sure if this is the right location, but anyways.
I bought a piston kit for my snowmobile and after checkout realized I bought the wrong kit. Immediately requested a cancelation, got my refund and it was 17 dollars short. Any reason for this?

Is this item from the US or listed in US dollars? If so, what was the total value of the kit, including shipping? Are “import charges” part of that total?

There is no any reason for that .

The Seller has to Refund full amount .

You have to call eBay to check why your money is taken .

The two culprits could be foreign exchange on the US dollar price compared to the Canadian dollar.

Keep in mind that the sell price for any currency is lower than the buy price.

At the moment (and prices change from minute to minute) the mid-market rate for USD/Cdn exchange is

1 CAD = 0.764318 USD

1 USD = 1.30836 CAD

The other possibility is that your seller used the Global Shipping Program and did not refund the import charges, which she never sees and never touches.
