It seems almost everything that has to pass through customs any way at all seems to be delayed. I've seen posts with people's items sitting 10 days or more with no movement. Even though it's being shipped through eBay's International shipping that would not speed things up, in fact I think this new(ish) program is even longer waiting times than the previous Global Shipping by quite a bit.
The weekend would play a part for sure, and the fact that it's a weird long weekend with some people taking an extra long one with the Tuesday Canada day (many people taking the Monday off too) then US July 4th this week also it will definitely be slower than usual. Don't fret if it hasn't updated on the eBay side, I remember ordering when they used Global Shipping and the item arriving to me without ever having the second tracking number uploaded. As has been posted elsewhere, since there were problems with DHL for a bit (I think back on track?), could be someone else was in place temporarily that is not as quick.

Never watch tracking.
Most shippers (and airlines) use spoke and hub delivery which is efficient, but doesn't always make sense from the outside.
And remember your shipment is probably moving with a pallet of others that will eventually reach your province, your city, and your carrier.
Mark the last estimated date for delivery on your calendar and have an ice cream cone in the sunshine.

That's a fact. Like a said in another post, order from the US now take 2-3 weeks on average, to arrive. In contrast, my latest order from Germany arrived in 1 week time.

7 packages now arrived at eBay’s hub and nothing has updated, even though one has made it into Canada. I received a email from a shipping company who said they are delivering one tomorrow…. What’s going on?
What's going on is business as usual for the hub.
It's literally a black box. You know when it comes in, but when it will come out is a mystery.
Like others have mentioned, just keep an eye on the latest expected delivery dates. As long as you are within that frame, waiting is your only option.

@john_koenig99 'Twas ever thus.
I've been selling by mail order since the 1970s and it averages 21 days from anywhere in the US to anywhere in Canada and vice versa.
While European delivery runs about 10 days.
I received a email from a shipping company who said they are delivering one tomorrow…. What’s going on?DHL locked out its workers for about a week.
And eIS has been using DHL for last mile delivery for some time now.
Possible relationship?
Tomorrow is not a holiday.

DHL has nothing to do with Intelcom or the customs, it’s the American DHL that sent it to Canadian customs. It’s Intelcom and the CBSA
But DHL Canada is also a last mile delivery partner, as well. It really depends on the order.
