I got burned with the same scam...for the same Binoculars last winter.

Hopefully some other poor sap wont go through the same month of hell I did before my credit card stepped in and made good on the rip off.

Don't trust that you are protected from "the first time seller" its a lie.

Did you open a Dispute?

The Resolution Centre is at the bottom of this page.

You have 30 days from delivery (or the last estimated date for delivery) to do this.

If the item never arrived, that's a Not Received Dispute.

If the seller cannot prove delivery (not shipping, delivery) you will be refunded.

Never accept an offer of a replacement.

If the item is Not As Described, the seller is required to send you Return Shipping. If he does not, you will be refunded,

If he does when tracking shows the item is returned , you will be refunded

All of which requires monitoring on your part.

If you missed the 30 day deadline, you can still use the Paypal Resolution Centre which is under Tools on your PP account page.

PP allows 180 days from payment, but if this is a Not As Described dispute, you pay for tracked return shipping.

I'm sorry but a thread like this,  after going through the moderators capable hands ends up making no sense ,it's more like the " redacted"  documents we keep seeing on the news, it sure looks like the mods feel that since they can't legally stop anyone from posting something then they'll make sure no one could make heads or tails out of reading it.

Why not delete the whole thing and let the poster know via email  the reasoning behind that decision. .

Sometimes the poster is so busy telling us how angry he is and how badly he has been treated, that he forgets to tell us what he is angry about, how he tried to deal with it, and what further problems he ran into.
