Hello eBay Community,
I need some advice on a return issue I'm experiencing. I returned a package to an eBay seller without even opening it (I have photos to prove it was sealed and intact). I paid for the return shipping through Canada Post, and the parcel arrived at the eBay hub on June 24th. eBay confirmed receipt of the package via email and mentioned that I would receive a resolution soon after inspection.
However, it's been over a month, and I have not received any further communication. I contacted customer service again, and the agent assured me that an expedited request was sent and I would receive a response within 72 hours. Unfortunately, it's been four days since then, and I still haven't heard anything.
I'm at a loss for what to do next. It seems like customer service is just giving me the runaround, and I'm worried they may have misplaced my package and might eventually blame me for it.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Any advice on how to get this resolved would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!

By phone?
Did you get a case number?
The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.
