hey guys
i bought a package on Dec 2, and it was shipped to me in Canada by the ebay global shipping program on Dec 4
tracking number
UPAAB000000385333777
however, it has been almost 3 weeks since it was shipped, and there is no update for the tracking, it just says tracking number provided/tracking details uploaded. Is it safe to assume that the package is lost?

To me it doesn’t look as if it ever reached the gsp center as it hasn’t been processed there so I think that its safe to assume that it’s lost. I would open a claim now if possible since there hasn’t been any movement for over 2 weeks.

Did you check the Pitney Bowes Parcel Tracker page at https://parceltracking.pb.com/app/#/dashboard/ ?
Try there if not.
PB/GSP hands off shipments once they get to Canada, usually to Canada Post, but also CanPar, FedEx and (ugh) Apple Express?
According to the tracking, the parcel is still at the GSP plant in Kentucky and has not cleared customs.
Was your order something that is banned or restricted from importation into Canada?
What was the date eBay gave you for delivery?
In my long experience of mail order, it takes about 20 days for delivery from anywhere in North America.
If the parcel has not arrived by the date given, you can open an Item Not Received Dispute in the Resolution Centre at the bottom of this page.
State that this is a GSP shipment and it will be handed over to a GSP specialist.
If they cannot see that the item has been delivered, you will be refunded.
The seller is not part of this problem. Her responsibility ended at the GSP plant gate.
If the item shows up later, neither the seller nor the GSP wants it back. It's up to you what you do with it.

There are restrictions on shipping perfume (it's volatile) but that purchase was apparently coming from Japan.
All your other purchases seem to be trading cards, which are not a problem.

Disregarding the issues with GSP and any applicable duties/taxes paid and how it is now being addressed as per Ask Andrea, the other part of the equation is the delivery time(+ cost for whatever shipping service is getting used???) , tracking communication and if or if not your expected package is being held as a restricted product. Additional reasons why buyers are nervous to use GSP after one experience. Buyers should not have to be looking high and low to find tracking links to find out where there package is. And if a package does get stopped in its tracks with Pitney Bowes, it might be an idea for them to contact the shipper so they know not to ship that type of item going forward and let their buyer know they are not going to see their purchase and they will need to make other arrangements if it is something they urgently require and are waiting for.
There was previous word that Apple was no longer on forwarder list. Are they back again and who else is permitted?

PS. Much shorter more desirable answer would be a filter to exclude GSP...But that's not gonna happen.

The original post is from 2019 so it's a little late to be filing a claim now. :0
