Here is a recent question I sent to a seller/manufacture? of UFO grow lights from China.
I have purchased a 135 and 150 w from your company and have had problems with both of these lamps bleaching my plants yellow two different times and I am very confident that the lights are toxic or deficient. You claim that you are a manufacturer and have done extensive testing to advertise that they work. At this point I do not believe this is true and I would like some proper answers on how to fix this problem. My plants were 3 wks old in the growing phase, were started under 5000-6500K compact fluorescent and moved under your lights (.5m away)for a 16hr cycle. They started dark green and then when put under your lights new leaves came out yellow and would not turn green until they were put under a traditional light source where after 1-2 weeks week new green leaves emerged and the old yellow leaves dryed up and fell off. This has caused me a lot of trouble and I hope that other people are not having the same trouble.
I am very frustrated after 2 months of experimenting with these lights. An intermediary contact responds with maybe not getting enough blue light and should maybe move closer. From the research I hear about light bleaching the light must be started further away and moved closer if it is to intense. I don't know if it is too intense or deficient in light frequencies.
I bet there would be no Paypal recourse for this one. Maybe I can use them for eradicating and sterilizing produce before eating? They certainly don't grow plants very well.
Anybody else have this problem?
