What is SquareTrade Protection Plan

I bought an electronic and decide to buy this plan.

I thought it is just a warranty so I thought why not?

I didn't know that they will ship something to me? What will I get from them?

After purchasing the plan. I see some bad reviews about them.

I wonder if I don't have any issue with my electronic then I don't need to use the plan, right?

Correct, if you don't have any issues with your purchase you won't use the plan.

I doubt that they will be mailing anything. It's probably just the way ebay is set up since most transactions involve shipping even if there nothing being shipped.
