never got item, never got refund.

hello. Often, we, buyers, have to wait between 30 to 60 days to get item. That's what i've done

with an item. After 3 months ( i'm patient)  i contact seller many time,  and the last time, i asked him for refund.

2 weeks later, still no refund, Then, i did try to have some kind of help from EBay Customer service, and nothing....  except this message:

"Unfortunately, your purchase is no longer eligible for eBay Buyer Protection since 30 days have passed since the estimated delivery date of the item but we encourage you to contact seller to work things out"

common..............

How i can have my money back, in this particular case ?

thank you, and sorry for my poor english

never got item, never got refund.

If you paid using PayPal you have 180 days of protection from time-of-purchase.

Final line of defense -- if you used a credit card, check to see what their protection is against item-not-received.

Hi,

I'm in the same boat as you but did not travel that far.  It's been 61 days now since I purchase my item, still waiting.

You can file a claim for item not received with eBay starting on the latest estimated delivery date and no longer than 30 days after that date.  If the latest estimated delivery date is more than 60 days from your purchase date, you have to use the resolution center and open a dispute.  If the latest estimated delivery date is within 60 days from the purchase date, you can file for item not received using your purchase list.  I know, quite confusing.

If you passed that eBay deadline, follow the other advices you received for Paypal or Credit card refund.

In my case, seller is telling me that I should be receiving it soon and to wait to the latest estimated delivery date and if I still did not receive it, he will refund me.  He assured me that  it was shipped.  Must be lost somewhere in transit or delayed due to bad weather.

Or vapourware.

Your seller has the correct eBay procedure.

However.

You cannot open an eBay Dispute until that last date for delivery has passed.

However, eBay purges older Sold listings and sometimes the buyer can't make the eBay claim because the original transaction has disappeare.d

Fortunately Paypal holds on to this information almost indefinitely.

If you can't find the eBay transaction number to open the Dispute, it will still be recorded on your Paypal account.

It has changed. It is now 3 or 4 years at best. But still plenty of time to open a dispute first and then transform into a claim if need be.

i contacted Paypal last week. and the man asked me to wait about 12 days, enough

to contact, if he can, the seller. And then, at the end 12 days, i will get my money back.

that's good news ! 😄

Twelve days is not acceptable.

Try to escalate the Dispute to a Claim.

Use the Dispute form under Tools on your PP account page.

You do not have to talk to any human being for this. It will only slow down the process.

If the seller cannot prove delivery (not shipping, delivery) you will be refunded.

Yes, escalate to claim! Seller may try and keep you waiting till you can't claim.

With PayPal resolution is a two step process: 1.) You have a "civil" conversation with each other and see if things work out. 2.) Buyer escalate to a case where negotiation gets nowhere. But you have a time limit to escalate, or you lose the ability to.
