Adjust preferences for ebay last call email

Hi,

I binge when I'm on my computer but have notable time away in between.  I believe the average time ebay sends out a last call notification  email warning potential buyers of the time the auction will end, is 2 1/2 hours.  I would like to change mine to 24 hours prior notice of the end,

Can individual settings even be changed?  If not is this a feature they might do?  Or..how about a blanket change to at least 12 hours reflecting the fact most people are not allowed to check their personal email at work.

Hoping for a positive answer.  Cheers, Steve.

If it's a Fixed Price listing, there's no advantage to waiting until the last minute.

If you are constrained by payday, back your Paypal account with a credit card, and buy now, pay later.

If it is an Auction, just bid your maximum when you decide you want the item.

Automatic bidding won't allow you to pay more than that.

If you feel really uncomfortable about bidding on Day One of a seven day Auction, you could use  sniping service like esnipe.com to set your maximum bid, which they will then exercise in the last seconds of the Auction.

There may be a small fee for the service.
