CAPCHA Failed; I Can't Update My Case

I'm trying to update a case, when I submit, it says please verify yourself, and despite clicking on the correct boxes, it says failed, and then says it can't send the message. I'm scared eBay is taking the same measures that Amazon is, which they deliberately take measures to prevent you from giving feedback or sending proof on a case. I tried clearing the browser, and even loggin out. The browser somehow remembers me, despite very other website doesn't when I fully clear it.

Try using another browser or a private or incognito browser window.

Deleting your eBay cookies should sign you out of your eBay account; some browsers give the option to delete recent cache files or recent cookies and you may have to choose "for all time" to completely erase things. A corrupt cookie file can sometimes fail to be cleared automatically, and may require manual erasure.

Verification can be affected by things like blocking third party cookies, ad blockers or script blockers. Try disabling those features on the sign-in or verification page if possible.

BTW-- In addition to eBay's Buyer Protection policy, which is in effect for 30 days after delivery (or last estimated date for delivery) you are also protected for 180 days from payment by Paypal, if you used that to process your payment, and by the chargeback function of your credit card.

You are going to need intervention from an eBay employee.

Use the FaceBook page

https://www.facebook.com/eBay/

which , unlike the phone reps, is run by employees with training and some authority.

Also, you get a transcript to help you confirm that what you heard is what they said.

Be sure to tell the rep that you are in Canada and that you are listing on eBay Canada. There can be differences that clog things up.
