Can't checkout, I receive this Error : "You've exceeded the maximum order amount. Please remove some

Hi,

This is the message that I have received : "You've exceeded the maximum order amount. Please remove some items or contact the seller for an updated total" . I am buying only 1 Item from the seller, and I already have asked him, he has the item in stock .
Not sure what to do.
He is sending me email about that the item is ready please pay... 😞
Let me know  what to do please .

Thanks in advance.
Al

EBay is rather paternalistic with new buyers (and new sellers).

You've run into a restriction on the number and/or value of your purchases.

Have you been putting things into your shopping cart that you did not buy? or that you are considering buying in future?

Those are being counted against your restrictions. Take them out of the shopping cart and you should be able to pay.

There is a Watch List which is the place to put items you are considering. It will also allow you to make comparisons between similar items.

Use Contact Seller on the right side of the original listing to explain what is happening. A sensible seller will understand. Nobody needs the other kind.
