Has ebay lost my item?

Hi there,
I've been buying off ebay for many years, almost 25 years or so in 2 different countries.
I've had countless items shipped through the ebay International shipping program and never run into an issue until now.

My item was delivered by USPS to the EIS on 24th May (Shipped US-Canada and signed for delivery at 0940 on 24 May). That is the last update, it has not moved since. Not been processed, nothing.
I've since had other items arrive at the hub after this one that have already been delivered to my home.
My delivery window expires next Monday (June 10th) so I know I can't do anything before then, which is fine. I'd rather have my item than a refund honestly.

I'm kind of mentally preparing myself to never see my item, I'm figuring after all this time its been lost or "lost" as it was quite valuable.
Thought I'd ask here based on other experiences, am I right to give up hope of ever seeing it or is it still possible it will appear at my door one day?

I guess I answered my own question, yes ebay has lost my item.
As expected its now Friday 7th and still the last status is still "Item arrived at hub" from 28 May.
It's still not been processed or shipped on to Canada.
No chance its getting to me by Monday so looks like I'll be requesting a refund on Tuesday, which I really didn't want I just wanted my item.
It was quite valuable so my suspicion is someone at the hub "accidentally lost it".
I'll never trust ebay International shipping ever again. I've now opened a US personal mailbox and would rather drive across the border and collect my items in person than trust anything of value to that hub ever again. Completely unacceptable.

FWIW Monday the 27th was a national holiday in the USA. This might slow things down a little.

But your item is not expected to be delivered until June 10th , next Monday.

Don't watch tracking. It doesn't help.

Just mark June 10th on your calendar and be pleased if  the shipment arrives before that.

There's really no reason to keep an eye on the tracking of your items until the delivery window.  As you suggest, you can't do anything about it's movement or lack thereof anyway.

There has been a large handful of complaints posted to these discussion boards recently about items being delayed or disappearing from the Glendale Heights eIS hub.  Items that are "lost" seem to be items that the hub is unable to forward to Canada due to carrier or import restrictions, but for whatever reason, the buyer often isn't notified of this and has to get the ball rolling for a refund themselves.

If your item hasn't arrived by the 10th, I suggest that you check the tracking on Parcelsapp to see if there are event scans or other information that's not being posted on eBay about your item.
