I'm trying to contact one of your sellers to discuss an item that i bought

I am trying to contact a seller who said he was going to send me some replacement parts for an item that does not work. I want to follow up with him and I am not able to because the item is not longer for sale. Is there a way to get a refund?

Yes. Open a Return Request for an Item Not as Described. Can you find the item that you purchased in your Purchase History? Open the case, say it doesn't work and that the seller didn't honour his/her promise to send replacement parts, and ask for your money back. If your 30-day MoneyBack Guarantee through ebay has expired, you migth have to do this via Paypal. Paypal offers Buyer Protection for 180 days from date of payment.

Come back for help if you have troubles doing this.

The eBayResolution Centreis at the bottom of this page.

You have 30 days from delivery to open a Dispute for Not As Described (not working).

If the scammer seller schmoozed you past that date, you still have 180 days from purchase for a Dispute with Paypal.

The PP Resolution Centre is at the top of your PP account page under Tools.

In both Disputes, you will be required to return the unwanted item to the seller WITH CONFIRMATION OF DELIVERY.

EBay will require the seller to pay for return shipping.

Paypal requires the buyer to pay for return shipping.
