Things were different during 2021 because the world was different in 2021 due to a horrible Pandemic that created "the need" for online selling/buying and I suspect that all these seller offers that you talk about had nothing to do with"more ebay sellers knew how to do stuff cuz more old ebay sellers were on ebay then and ebay had email support in 2021", but moreso was due to how the world was more reliant on purchasing on line so there were more buyers purchasing on line and more sellers pushing offers>whether that be eBay, Amazon or wherever...
Now that folks have returned to "more normal" shopping methods, there may be less purchasing online and more purchasing in person at B&M outlets....
Many sellers have found that "offers" have resulted in way too many low ballers and way too many scam buyers....Many Sellers are simply fed up with scam buyers and all those buyers wanting everything for nothing...
