Recently being looking at replacing my Apple Watch Noticed nearly all US sellers are charging more than 100$ for shipping. Used to be in the region of 30-50$. Still pretty sure that there is duties to come as well. Anyone know why this is?

I don’t understand why eBay allows sellers to list items as “presales” when the site that the item is coming from doesn’t even have them available yet. Maybe this is a hot take, but you shouldn’t be able to sell an item that you don’t own yet.

Please be advised, As a Canadian seller YOU CAN broker your US parcels yourself. Ask U.P.S. to send you the forms via email, fill them out send them back , make a copy for yourself and they MUST accept them so you can save the cash grab fees. As pertaining to the 2.00 parcel to Canada from the USA there will be law suit afer law suit shortly. I stopped buying from sellers that use U.P.S it is a dirty company that are greedy and many parcels come damaged less the great delivery people out there. U.S.P.S is your best be from U.S.A to Canada,,,,, 30 years experience telling you this.

Greetings from Canada I purchased a book, Stephen King's Dark Tower VII Artist Signed LTD Edition, for US$200.00 (plus shipping & taxes), but the seller mistakenly sent a First Trade Edition, worth about US$10.00. The seller immediately conceded that he made a mistake and he has been excellent. But as it turns out that because this is an international transaction, the seller has ZERO involvement in the return/refund process. I was instructed to return the item to the eBay International Hub, and was provided a shipping label and way bill and the item was shipped, still in the publisher's shrink wrap, with DHL on July 10th/2025, and received at the hub on July 15th. When receiving the shipping instructions, I was told that my refund would be issued in 5 to 7 days after it was received at the hub. As of today, it has been 2 weeks, and not only has my refund NOT been issued, I have received NO response to my multiple inquiries as to the status of the return "case". Each time I send a message to inquire, it says someone will respond within 24 hours, I have yet to receive any response at all since the email instructions for shipping the item back on July 9th. There is no number to call, and I am at a loss as to why I am being ignored. I have sent back the $10 book (I have proof of receipt from DHL it was delivered and signed for), but I am still out US$200.00, plus shipping & taxes. It adds up to approximately CN$328.00... not only do I not have the book I ordered, but I do not have my money back either. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Bradley

Ordered some expensive action figures from a seller in the usa with stellar feedback. Im located in canada. He shipped 3 combined in a box through ebay global shipping center who then unpacked the box and put them individually in bubble mailers. Of course they were destroyed in the mail. I cant seem to figure out how to contact ebay .

I bought a Samsung Galaxy S21, after about a week, the seller refused to ship it. I cancelled it and I ordered another from someone else. The seller cancelled the cancellation and hasn;t shipped the item. I can't afford two. Ebay is a nightmare to contact. They're becoming like Facebook/Scamazon. They want to scheduale a call, but I can't speak and I don't live in a place with adequate phone service, I want live chat, appearently, they don't offer it anymore. I don't trust the original seller. WHy wouldn't they ship it and why did they cancel the cancellation request. It feels like a scam or something.

I have paperwork from Staples saying the item is recieved, with the tracking number. I have spoken with ebay chat twice and they said they will pass the issue on to the correct people and that I should expect an email. Then nothing. I tried speaking to a real person yesterday, explained to them that my deadline for completing the return is Jun 25. They said they would make sure it doesn't get completed. Again I am to wait for an email, but I just realized there is no paper trail for my last conversation. It seemed like I was bringing up something they had heard nothing about. I just looked at my return page and they still have the link for DHL. Which is nuts. So my question is - has anyone else had this problem?

@zaricro won an auction today and paid for it and immediately after seller cancelled my order with a generic excuse that there's something wrong with my address which is totally false. I contacted the seller numerous times and have been ignored. I feel that this is happening due to my low winning bid. I now know this is the case as hours later he relisted the item and blocked me from bidding on it even though I still have had no communication from him

As stated, I purchased some injectors from Carbox24 in Germany. They want me to return the old ones. However, following their shipping rules, they never picked up from their customs and will not respond to my messages. So, my big problem is with eBay for help. They have a terrible AI system; you can't talk to a human, and all their help options don't address this situation. So, I'm in limbo. To illustrate excellent service, I had ordered something from Amazon, and a porch pirate stole it. I had a number to call, spoke with a representative, and had it resolved in 10 minutes. Here I've spent a whole afternoon trying to figure out how to put in a complaint for resolution. I've tried a number of different areas on eBay, none of which address this issue directly. I've noticed recently that in the field I'm interested in, vintage computing, shipping charges have in many cases increased quite dramatically. To take the most egregious example, noted yesterday, a Macintosh with a Buy It Now price of US$219 comes with a shipping charge to Canada of US$603! When contacted, the seller made the same lame excuse that I've heard from other US sellers, that eBay handles all the shipping and calculates the cost. This is wrong, of course. The seller has control over what service to use. This is an extreme but not isolated example. A lot of vintage computers for around $100 that used to be shipped for $30-40 now come with a shipping charge of $90-100. Since there are still sellers who have reasonable charges this recent burst of dramatic increases must be due either to ignorance or gouging. Have others noticed this?

Every time I buy a buy-it-now item, it appears in a "bidding" column, which tells me what I've bid on it, with a certain number of days left for the item - after which it seems I'll win it. If I try to click on "bids", to see and ideally retract my unwilling bid, I'm taken to a blank page. It's not a big deal, save for the prospective hassle of dealing with sellers who imagine I'm buying another of the same item..... To clarify: 1) these are items that the sellers have multiples of. 2) one of them is already delivered, so it's not a matter of the listing disappearing on delivery... Has anyone else had this problem? Is this a glitch? Can anyone tell me how to connect with an actual human at ebay? (I'd love to talk to one to sort it out, but all I seem to have access to is the automated assistant, which needless to say is no Deepseek - just a crude program designed to offer one of (it seems) a couple of dozen stock responses....)

I'm wanting to order some items from China , the shipping method for both items is eBay speed pak. I can't seem to find out if speed pak shipping uses Canada Post. I don't want my items being stuck while Canada Post is on strike. Can anyone confirm that they would use alternative shipping company.

I bought a pair of server cpu (buy it now) and paid immediately. I checked my summary page and the buy-it-now order is awaiting shipment. A duplicte of the same item is listed in bidding and I am now the highest bidder. I looked through the seller's listings and every single one is buy it now. I have no idea where the auction comes from. If I click on the bids a blank page shows up. If I click on the item, it brings me to the original listing and ask if I want to buy another one. Anyone else has this problem? Any insights is appreciated.

My package stuck at Glendale Heights sent from USA to Canada. Now tracking says delivered, picked up by Individual at Postal Station. Never received order. Is this a vague way of saying a mail person or carrier picked up package and its on its way still?

Part ordered on Nov 1, 2024. Shipped DHL by the seller. Delivery was scheduled for Nov 18. Nov 25 tracking info show "part destroyed". Claim made to ebay Nov 30th. Conatcted seller several times. He says nothing he can do to help. Here's the history from Ebay... Jan 9 the case was put on hold, "seller provided information that the part is in transit" Dec 25 the case was put on hold "seller provided information that the part is in transit" Dec 10 the case was put on hold "seller provided information that the part is in transit" Nov 30 the case was put on hold "seller provided information that the part is in transit" I have made several phone calls to DHL. They say contact the shipper, they aren't the delivery company, Apple Express is. I made several ca;lls to Apple Express, no reply, no answer. I contacted the seller sevarl times, no, he can't submit a claim, yes he has been paid in full. Contacted Ebay by phone, nothing can be done while it is on hold. Wait until January 25th. And that's where we stand today. I'm out $330.00, my customer can't drive his car, safety required part and I can't get my money back! Magical. isn't it?

Item arrived, missing a part. When I sign in there is no record of it in my purchase history. But on the email receipt my username is different the the usual one, when I try and sign in the password won't work no matter how many times I reset it amd use it immediately. It's llike there's a glitch.
