Hello to Nancy, Marion, Julie, Nellie, Christine, TOB and Ralph,

(((((TOB)))))) Your Mom is such a warrior it must be shock to see her looking weak. Prayers that she is feeling better and stronger soon.

Nancy--you make me burst out laughing--you are always so on point.

Christine--love to think of you enjoying the lovely weather.

The weather was HOT. In Maine(!), we were eating at a beautiful Inn and you could tell all the tourists--we were the dweebs in our best turtlenecks with matching wool blazers--the ones that looked ummm moist. We winged into L.L. Bean and bought some shirts--wrinkle free ones--I wore one for 3 days and it looked as crisp as when I first bought it. Then it cooled enough that the days were hot but the nights were cool enough that I got to wear my new flannel jammies I bought for the trip. DH may not see silk until summer. LOL

We had lots of lobster, lots of wine, met some wonderful people saw the gorgeous colors in Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Maine. We didn't get more than 4 hrs of sleep a night, but I am back completely refreshed--it helped me find the "ignore" button and Ralph--I recommend that button highly.

I held you all in my prayers--I feel so close to God walking those beautiful Atlantic beaches, and walking in those Fall woods.

God bless all the caretakers--you are angels on earth.

DH has just come in from helping a neighbor stacking the last of her firewood. I am going to brew a nice cup of tea and sit with him for awhile.
