Hi TOB!

Good to see you in here. How is your mother doing? Are you back home? I was so glad to read the post about your family coming to visit.

I am still getting out and walking quite a bit. I also try to do some groceries most days. Hubby says that when I am feeling good I should get out instead of trying to clean the house - isn't he wonderful! One of the nice things that happened lately is that we found a take-out Viet-Thai restaurant near the house. I found out that if I call the day before I can get a fish all done up for dinner. I ordered a snapper on Tuesday and it was the best fish that I have had in a long time.

Nancy, yes I am home as of Wednesday night. I left a very teary Mum at the airport. It just tore me apart to leave her like that. We had a wonderful two weeks. My biggest concern for her is that she eats like a little bird. At one point she said to me "you may be a nurse but you're not MY nurse"....so I shut up and quit nagging. She knows what she should be doing in order to stay strong but no one can force her. On a positive note, she only used her oxygen twice in the two weeks I was there. Nancy, please continue to look after yourself in any way you have to....(there I go again!)

It's back to the old grind here. I work nightshift this weekend. *sigh* I am getting too old for this! 😉

TOB--so nice to "see" you. I agree with you.

I was very reluctant to post on the first Christian thread because I know I am not most people's idea of a Christian. I was welcomed and every one was very kind. I am guessing many of you think I don't get it quite "right", but you are mercifully quiet about it.

TTC--I am not judging your Christianity and I hope you won't judge mine.:-)

Let's forget any harsh words everyone. Life is good.

After a cold rainy day, the sun is out--just in time. I pick up DGS at 3:30 and we are off to feed the goats at the farm, then he and I vacuum my house, then off to A&W for dinner (Gag! but at least their salad is not too awful).

I am happy to say Kraft that my beliefs persecute no one and I am more than glad to have left behind those who believe that another person should be looked at as less of an individual, simply because of what they believe.

I think I'll wander over to the Pagan's thread. They seem to be more open, and acceptive. It's more how you lead your life. KD scares me with that post.
