Oh wow!! Hubby came home & expected to get fed - imagine that!!!
The question is directed at me - but this is my own opinion and again I point out - we are all individuals and perfectly capable of thinking for ourselves.
My direction. . . a verse to start off with. . .
I Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.
A) Condemning? Ostracizing? Suggesting eradication??? Uh-uh! not for me. There are activities I will not condone, but condemn individuals because they have a different belief system than I? NO. Believing in God & His Word, the Bible, works for me. Organized religion works for me just great. I believe there is much to do in this world and "many hands" can achieve more than one alone. Yeah, those verses are in the Bible, but I look at the Bible as a whole and what I get is that I do serve a God of love and He alone can judge. Far be it for me to do His job for Him. He does say the wages of sin is death but that's for Him to mete out. As far as I'm concerned, He only tells me to love one another, even the least of these. Would I join you for a glass of water/juice - absolutely! But let's face it, D - what have we got in common?? I would be forever on tenterhooks making sure I do not say anything that would make you feel like I'm cramming religion down your throat. I love my Lord, God & Saviour and like any love relationship I love to talk about it and I also hope it shows in my actions. It should just be a given that those of like minds will gather together and be more comfortable with each other. You have to admit there's no point in spending time with disagreeing and divisive spirits. My belief system
B) If I told you my husband is a non-church attending fella and that my lovely daughter's boyfriend is not of the same faith and that she would just love to give everything up and go to India and work @ Mother Teresa's orphanages - would that answer your question? If they produce fruits of the Holy Spirit which is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. . . and the greatest of these is LOVE - what more can I ask.

All around you, people will be tiptoeing through life, just to arrive at death safely. But dear children, do not tip toe. Run, hop, skip, or dance, just don't tip toe."
