hi Ralph - I had a neighbour like that when I was pregnant - because I needed a procedure to stitch my womb, she told me the baby was probably wasn't Ok ! - That was a hair raising 9 months even though in my heart i knew she was an idiot, and she was ! - Keep well and hope everything goes ok with the doctor,

Hi Nikki, Christine and all - just waving hi and bye! - Won't be in much in the next week - daughter is expecting her 2nd on Monday - C-section! and we'll be babysitting her energetic 2 yr old for the week. - Will pop in to tell you if it's a boy or girl,

Morning Marion! Congrats on your new grandbaby Monday! You must be so excited! Would this be the first boy? Have fun with your 2yr old granddaughter, I have one of those energetic ones myself.

Hi Marion---how exciting!! Good luck with the 2 year old--where do they get all that energy? I would love to bottle it. Keep us posted!

Marion--why do people do that? When Ralph posted about his neighbour, my first thought was "you should see baby showers. Some women seem to think it is a good idea to trot out every horror story they know about pregnancy and birth".

Christine--it does get frustrating here some times, doesn't it? Hope you will still flyby regularly--it wouldn't be the same without you.

Ralph--hope all goes well.

Keep smiling everyone, and if you have a chance for a good belly-laugh, I say "Go for it".

Back from a walk. The weather is wonderful and my kitties are lined up at the back door screen. It is so nice to drop in this thread and see your posts. I think I have the visual for #55 and it is not very pretty!

Ali I was expecting high blood pressure too but the doctor checked that and said it was fine. She also did some on the spot neurological tests and looked into my eyes with a light for a long time and said it all looked okay. If the cat scan is clear I'm going to celebrate.

These things make one think about one's mortality. I'm going to make changes to my will and try to avoid stress and alter my diet a little bit.

Yup a simple echo recheck of my heart murmur showed an enlargement of the left side. Yipes! Cardiologist next month.

Prayers for you Ali. I hope you see the cardiologist early in the month. So many times it turns out all is well, but the waiting can be worrying.

Oh dear! Most things about having a retired spouse are wonderful--but mine now wants some lunch. Most days I have to remember it. My idea of a good lunch and one that leaves very few dishes is crackers/cheese/pickles/ and depending on mood or health--glass of wine or pot of tea but apparently that isn't really a meal. Oh well, it isn't too bad--I am throwing together a cheese/bacon/tomato panini with a salad on the side and in most ways he is perfect.:-)

Prayers gracefully requested for Nicki9912 & her family at this very difficult time. Last night, her Mom was admitted to the palliative care unit at the hospital. :-(
