LOL, mine runs similarly; but I did make some cutbacks to make it more affordable! 😉

Seriously, my old plan with just an old flip phone was around $50/month, so it wasn't an astronomical upgrade.  Besides, having an iPhone now, I no longer have use for the 3G service on my iPad, so that  was a $30/month decrease, as well.

Beware!

A friend of mine bought one for her daughter.

In the first month, she ran up a bill that was just over $1500.

My friend works for Rogers and gets a 50% discount - the bill for you or I would have been $3000.

Try and get an unlimited plan, so that you don't get a big surprise.  My son pays about $80 a month and has yet to pay anything extra - and his phone is like an extension of his arm.  He is never without it.  The damn things are addictive.
