Interesting article. It says what Prior has been saying all along when a Muslim kills his wife to preserve his honor. It is the actions of a few radicals. Not representative of the Muslim world as a whole.

I think I must have read a different article.
Just curious Puck - are you saying that it is only radicals who commit honour killings? What about the daughters who are murdered? How about the community reaction to these killings?
Please note that I do not believe that honour killings are done by Muslims alone. Also, when I speak about 'community' I am referring to Canadians in general.

The article has nothing to do with honor killings.
Prior has passed those off as the acts of radical Muslims, not the Muslims as a whole.
The article is saying that the "protests" seen in the media are the acts of a few radicals - and do not represent mainstream Muslims. Prior would have us believe otherwise.
I have a different view on honor killings than Prior. I feel that they are an ingrained part of the Muslim culture. Although the Muslim clerics say that honor killings are not condoned in their religion, the actions of a lot of Muslim's indicate just the opposite.

This is really simple to answer. Go to the Mosque on Oxford St puck and ask them. You'll be surprised how honest and straight forward an forthcoming they are. Don't worry, none of them are going to kidnap you or try to convert you. I've been there, talked to them, but I think we need a skeptic to prove my point.

I don't need to go to a mosque. I am friendly with a number of Muslims who live in my apartment building.
