Velocity (dollar amount) and consistency (# of transactions) are both parts of that coin.

 

The word "velocity" has nothing to do with dollar amount. It refers to speed. This is the worst kind of jargon.

There are several perfectly good and clear words that could have been used. A simple "search and replace" program could be used to correct this stupid error.
