In the last few years, whenever economic news were good, the Harper government took credit. Whenever news were not so good, the Harper government always found someone or something else to blame.
This morning the Bank of Canada released its most recent forecast for world growth and Canada growth.
http://www.bankofcanada.ca/2013/10/publications/press-releases/fad-press-release-2013-10-23/
"Overall, the global economy is projected to grow by 2.8 per cent in 2013 and accelerate to 3.4 per cent in 2014 and 3.6 per cent in 2015.
In Canada... Real GDP growth is projected to increase from 1.6 per cent in 2013 to 2.3 per cent in 2014 and 2.6 per cent in 2015."
In conclusion, that great "action plan" promoted everywhere by the Harper government with tens of millions of our tax dollars will yield lower economic growth in Canada than the rest of the world, this year, next year and the year after that!
Thank you Mr Harper.

In a press conference at 11:00 this morning the Governor of the Bank of Canada was very clear and his numbers left no doubt: Canada is in fact trailing the rest of the world. We are growing at a slower rate and that slower rate is expected to continue for at least two more years.
Any comments by the Prime Minister or the Minister of Finance suggesting or implying that we are doing better than the rest of the world are plain lies and misinformation.

"Like the Liberals have never lied. "
What does your comment have to do with this discussion. Do two wrong make a right?
It does not matter who lied. They should have to account for their misrepresentation, regardless of the political party they represent.
