Has anyone ever sold on icollector?
I have and yet I have come back to ebay.
I came back for several reasons and none had to do with economics.
In 2015 I won the eBay made in Canada Entperanure of the Year award. I sold/sell a product that truly is Canadian and I sold it with passion. I still sell that product today and I honestly enjoy what I sell. What I love about selling my particular product on eBay is that real collectors are buying from me. They are truly joyful when they receive their item and this is reflected, not only in the positive feedback they leave, but in the personal emails they send me.
With icollector I was missing that personal connection. I had a lot of dealers buying from me, there is no feedback system, and I would get a tremendous amount of calls asking about the items. Not to mention it was a huge amount of work to run a live online auction with over 300 items and then invoice, take payment and pack and ship all by myself. eBay has a sense of trust that seems to be missing from icollector.
So what is your experience, have you used another platform like icollector, and if so what brings you back to eBay?
