As you know eBay started collecting and remiting sales for Canada as of July 1st 2022. That's not a problem for us but we're currently being audited and need to prove those taxes are being collected and remitted. I spent hours on the chat and phone trying to get their PST tax ID number or something that we can give the auditors to prove the remitance is occuring.
This is a nightmare and eBay does NOTHING but say they are remitting the taxes, as if that's enough. I'm sure others have been in similar boats so hoping someone can help.

If you've bought something from the shipping supplies store, the numbers should all be in your purchase invoice. You can also try going to your tax invoice (Payments -> Reports -> Tax Invoices, choose the summary one). Mine only shows the GST/HST numbers I think, but maybe yours shows PST since that's where you're located. I don't know if these are the same numbers as for the tax remitted on sales though.
Here's what my shipping supplies purchase showed on the invoice:
GST/HST 87488 3325 RT 0001
MB PST 138984-0
SK PST 7602477
QC QST 12 2189 9241 TQ 0001
BC PST 1468-6432

BC separated PST and GST. Both will be needed.

Also being audited in Ontario, just gathering my info to send them, we shall see how it goes.
