Setting up your Profile in the New Community

Hi Everyone -

You may have noticed that Avatars were not carried over with the upgrade. This is because they are no longer linked to your My World profile.

If you would like to have an Avatar image, set your signature or change your content subscription settings, please follow one of these two sets of instructions:

1. Click on "Preferences" at the top right of the Forum window (but below the eBay header). It's next to "Log Out", "Print" and "Help". That will take you right to your preferences with the ability to upload your Avatar, signature, etc...

OR

1. Click on "Profiles" under the "My Content" heading on the left-hand menu bar.

2. Click on "My Preferences"

I followed your instructions and it still does not work.

Also, I do not see your avatar?  Have you followed your instructions? 😉

Ha ha - good call Pierre. Yes, it won't show up immediately. It still has to be propagated to the servers, etc... and I expect that it'll take a little longer than usual today/tomorrow given that there will be a surge of uploads from the community.
