Why are there so many outdated posts?

I do not like the new community boards. There are so many outdated posts popping up.  When I check here all I want to see is the most recent posts & all the other ones in date order of placing. Gets confusing having to hunt around as posts are not in order & they keep changing places. I don't care which posts have the most traffic or interest. Just want to see the most recent ones.

Users are searching topics which results are shown by Best Match as a default instead of Date so they latch on to any old thread and add to it.
