Would it be possible to let buyers mark orders as delivered/received (with date) once they have? I and others routinely see situations where eBay tracking is not current or accurate. It will show as processed even though buyer can confirm they have received or the the local (international mail systems etc) can confirm delivery. I had a shipment delivered last week in Germany (7 days ago) as an example. The local postal service and buyer can confirm the delivery. CP's last entry only shows as processed. Nothing further. Another one to the USA where last entry in eBay is on hold, similar status in USPS and buyer can confirm actual delivery with no issues. Many even leave feedback even though tracking is not update. This suggestion would also work great for sellers that need to ship my untracked services like mail due to item value.
(As a side note eIS shipment tracking is rarely up to date and causes constant concern for buyers that their shipment has been lost or they will never see.) Not super helpful from a buyers and sellers perspective. Parties (and that includes eBay) need to be able to rely on tracking info especially when eBay considers it an important tool for all concerned.
