Error "Oops, something went wrong while processing your request." while changing username.

I have been getting this error message for the past few weeks now when trying to change my username. I've spoken to over a dozen customer support employees about this issue and not one of them was able to solve this problem.

I have also opened up a ticket a week ago where they said it would be fixed (shocker, it didn't get fixed).

I've have tried all attempts to fix this on my end but no matter what I do there is no fix. It seems that there's something fundamentally wrong with my account or there is some sort of block in place to where I'm unable to change it.

If anyone else has had this problem and ended up getting it fixed please let me know.

If any eBay employees are reading this please, for the love of God, please get this fixed for me. It is so incredibly frustrating going back and forth, repeating myself over and over again only for them to tell me they opened a ticket, try again in a few days, have it not work again, then go through this whole cycle again.

Those are not eBay employees and have little authority.

They are subcontractors in Utah.

Have you tried using another browser? Some glitches seem to come up on some browsers but not on others.

Or...have you tried clearing your history and cache and then trying again? I know that's just basic stuff but it might work.
