I tried to bid on some TTC slides today and found that eBay.ca won't recognize my account. I've been trying for hours without any success. All it keeps doing is sending me around in circles. I will try to enter either my user name (which is what I normally use) or my e-mail address. It then has me view images to prove that I'm not a robot, and all that does is send me back to the page I just left. I've been using eBay for twelve or more years and have never had this happen before. I could be more precise but I can't see my information to indicate how long I've been using eBay. I've seen instances where the site is partially down, but nothing quite like this.
I tried to follow one of the suggestions to access eBay to bid on an item via Facebook, but to my disappointment I found that it's creating a new account rather than accessing my existing account. In the meantime I tried to access my account via eBay.com and found that they at least still recognize me.
Is anyone else running into this trouble?

Thank you for the suggestions. I tried as you suggested with a different browser. It didn't work, but in the meantime, a friend who I have dealt with and who I've purchased many transit slides and negatives from gave me a contact number.
I just came off the phone and the person who I spoke to on eBay was able to reactivate my original eBay account. I still don't know what had happened, but it seems to be fixed now. Thank you in the meantime for your help.
All the best.
